Yoga for Pregnancy
Yoga can be a great tool for birth preparation, stress relief, and connecting emotionally and spiritually to your baby. All of our teachers are comfortable teaching to and giving suggestions to pregnant mamas who would like to take regular yoga classes and adjust for pregnancy.
Meggie Cafferty, Kristine Petterson, and Marijka Haverhals are all specifically trained as Prenatal Registered Yoga Teachers.
Prenatal Yoga classes are held at the Uma Center on Wednesdays from 5:15-6:30pm.
Yoga for Postpartum Moms
Yoga can be a great tool to rebuild the core muscles postpartum as well as relieve the daily stresses of life with babies. Please check with your care-provider before beginning yoga classes post-birth.
For your first classes, post-birth, check out a yin, restorative, or slow flow class, but no worries if you can only make it out of the house for an all levels - our teachers can take care of you.
Postpartum mothers are welcome at the Uma Center classes as well
