About the Instructors

Meggie Cafferty E-RYT200, PRYT
Meggie has been engaged in dance and movement from a young age. She was trained in ballet, jazz, and modern dance, before joining her varsity cheerleading squad at Sandpoint High School. In 2010, amidst transitions in her personal and professional life, Meggie came to know the physical practice of yoga. After graduating from the University of Idaho in 2011, she decided to make yoga a more influential and permanent part of her life, and completed her first 200 hour teacher training program in 2014, under the direction of Tiffany Wood, Certified Anusara® Yoga Teacher, E-RYT 500. Meggie began teaching in Sandpoint, ID shortly thereafter.
Through the practice of yoga, she firmly believes that you can begin to heal yourself from the inside out. Meggie’s classes are flowing, playful, and fun, and she meets her students exactly where they are. Finding the balance between effort and ease in one’s practice can lead to great opening and expansion, so that students can go deeper and explore parts of themselves and their practice they did not know they had.

Jessica Drago E-RYT200
Jessica’s fascination with movement began when she was enrolled in dance class at the age of 2. Since then, she has expressed her love for movement through dance, soccer, martial arts, rock climbing, and of course yoga. In 2009, in an attempt to nurture a climbing injury, she picked up a yoga class and discovered an endless journey of self awareness. Honoring the profound transformation that was taking place both on and off her mat, she chose to embark on a 200 hour Teacher Training with Bridget Lyons and Tiffany Wood. Having suffered and recovered from various sports injuries, Jessica has an understanding of how to give the body what it needs to recuperate. Coupling her passion for yoga and body mechanics with a certificate for Physical Therapy Aide, years of experience in the health field as a Certified Nursing Assistant, and various trainings and workshops in Essential Oils, Body Alignment and Structural-Muscular Balancing, Jessica is well equipped and has a passionate desire to use her knowledge to help others in their own individual pursuit of a healthy lifestyle. Her teaching brings the physical alignment and body awareness into a relationship with mental and emotional wellbeing by emphasizing the mind-body connection and exploring the depth of interactions between our physical selves, and our mental/emotional/spiritual selves.
